  Today i used insurance to buy a pair of glasses at bupa. the insurance deducted $200 and i paid $182 out of pocket (optional thin lenses). the clerk was polite and patient. she was worried that i didn’t fully understand what she meant, so she asked a colleague who could speak chinese to confirm again.
