    We went to see the permanent exhibitions and the kids loved supernova which is an interactive hands on science area. a newcastle story was vey well displayed with a fascinating spin on how far the community has come. parking available on the grounds outside and the site is wheelchair accessible.

    Today was a great day to learn about the history of our beautiful city. i lived in the newcastle/lake macquarie area for such a long time, but i never heard anything about most of the places on the old map until now. it's amazing how much you can learn simply by visiting your friendly museum.
