    Volunteers were very helpful and friendly. eager to share their knowledge. very informative. get there around 1.00 for the time gun going off. very clean and well maintained.

    A great place to visit for history and views over newcastle. the staff were lovely, and the grounds were well kept. the museum has lots of memorabilia that was well presented and organised. you can tour the tunnels but need to book in advance.
