    Maitland bay beach is a beautiful and peaceful place. start the walk next to the information centre on the scenic rd (opposite of corner maitland bay dr) in killcare heights. there's a free car park. it's a 15 minute walk down with lots of …

    Start your peaceful walk at the information centre. the walk is quite steep. however, it can be managed by kids, my 8 year old daughter enjoyed it. it's worth it as you reach a quite, beautiful, and clear water beach . free parking is available.

    It's a beautiful beach. very little shade. we walked from putty beach to maitland beach. busy trail, mostly easy, steep inclines and steps. stunning views. the surf at maitland, is small and was very easy for my 4 year old to swim in. there is a near car park about 800m from the beach, it's downhill to the beach.
